Nancy Dear

Nancy Dear, with her husband Doug, started Birdtail Ranch Quarter Horses over 60 years ago. They wanted to produce working Quarter Horses that were willing workers on the ranch who could then go to a show or rodeo arena and win. They succeeded, and today, Birdtail Ranch Quarter Horses are well-known for their gentle demeanors, hardworking attitudes and winning ways.
