Traver
Rains, the eldest son of Dee Dee and Lennard, grew up on the
Birdtail Ranch. He was active in 4-H, AQHYA, and the Open
Show Circuit. Many of the awards won by our current and foundation
broodmares, as well as our former stallion Open Invitation,
came through Traver’s hardwork and superb showmanship.
After
graduating high school, Traver earned his Bachelor’s
degree in economics from Southern Methodist University. Upon
his college graduation, he moved to New York City where he
co-founded his own fashion company, Heatherette. Traver currently
resides in California where he runs his own photography and
fashion design company.
